Privacy policy

This policy explains what Mozana does with the personal data you share when you subscribe to the GLP-1 community newsletter. We keep it short on purpose: we collect very little, and only to send you the emails you asked for.

Who is responsible

Mozana, Geneva, Switzerland, is the data controller. You can reach us at info@mozana-app.com for any question or request about your data.

What we collect

• Your email address, which you enter in the signup form.
• Confirmation details: the date and time of your signup and of the click on the confirmation link (double opt-in), the version of the consent text, your browser type and a salted hash of your IP address (never the IP itself), so we can prove you asked to subscribe.
• Optional answer, if you choose to tell us what you would like to read about after signing up. It is voluntary and you can skip it.
• Email activity: whether an email was delivered, opened or a link was clicked, as reported by our email provider, to keep the newsletter relevant and working.

We do not ask for your name, your health history or any medical information. The newsletter is not medical advice.

Why we use it

Only to send you the Mozana newsletter and related updates about the GLP-1 community, and to keep a record of your consent. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Legal basis

Your consent, given when you subscribe and confirm your email. You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email, or by writing to us. Withdrawing consent does not affect the emails already sent.

We follow the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, for subscribers in the European Union and the United Kingdom, the GDPR and UK GDPR. For subscribers in the United States, our emails comply with the CAN-SPAM Act: every email identifies Mozana as the sender, includes our postal address and offers a working unsubscribe link, honoured within 10 business days. Wherever you live, the rights described below apply to you.

Who processes it for us

A few service providers handle your data on our behalf, under contracts that bind them to protect it: Supabase (database hosting, Frankfurt, Germany), Resend (email delivery) and Vercel (web hosting). Some of them process data outside Switzerland and the European Union, including in the United States, under recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. We can tell you which providers we use on request.

How long we keep it

Unconfirmed signups are deleted after 30 days. Confirmed subscriptions are kept for as long as you are subscribed. When you unsubscribe, your optional answer is deleted immediately and your address is kept only on a suppression list so we never write to you again.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy. You can also object to the processing or withdraw your consent. Write to info@mozana-app.com and we will answer within 30 days.

If you have a concern about how we handle your data, please contact us first so we can resolve it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

Cookies

This page does not use tracking cookies or analytics. The only data stored in your browser is what is needed for the signup form to work.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for any significant change, tell you by email.
